Mommy must be missing Kacy and Mike....

....she is making fudge and fruitcake today all by herself this year (except I am watching). I miss them too. Surely they will be home on Christmas?

I helped Mommy decorate the tree yesterday....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I am thankful for.....

....TREATS! (AND for my friends and family-except just WHERE are Kacy and Mike so I can tell them just HOW MUCH?)

Mommy showed me this today from Dear Abby and I would say it covers it ALL!

Dear Abby: Awhile back, you asked your readers to name their heroes. May I contribute?
My heroes are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, foster parents, teachers, playground monitors and crossing guards who teach others to have values and common sense, and to be ethical in their treatment of others.
My heroes are young girls who spend a year grooming and conditioning their hair, then cut it off so it might be given to a child who has none; those who pick up trash along the highways and byways to keep America clean; police officers who stop you because you’ve done something stupid, then let you go because they know you made an honest mistake.
My heroes are the guys on the garbage truck who take a few extra seconds to pick up the items that didn’t make it into the truck; grown-ups who hold children’s hands in parking lots to keep them safe; teachers who stay after school to help a student struggling with homework, a troubled home life or homelessness.
My heroes are strangers on streets and in buildings who take a moment to ask whether they can help you; and my dear father, whose strong hands made a living for his family, who gently held his frightened little girl and who often shared more than he could afford with others less fortunate than he.
— Julie in Scott City, Mo.
Dear Julie: On this day of all days, let us all give thanks for those individuals who have made — and continue to make — a positive difference in our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I have been depressed for days....

...Kacy and Mike never showed up for my "birthday". UNHEARD OF! What in the world could be going on, Matt Lauer? I have been depressed for days!

But begging for my second breakfast DOES help take away SOME of the pain. PAYDIRT!

Can you believe.....?

....It's been twelve years ago today Kacy found me beneath the MAC ATM at the bank on the way home from work. How did she know to find me? Isn't that special? Its the closest thing to a birthday I have so Kacy and Mike certainly wouldn't miss coming here to see me today would they? I think I will sit and wait for them. (How do I figure out how to find them if they don't find me?)

Well, I did break down and come back in the house.....

... because I heard Kacy and Mike's voices again today. I don't get why I keep hearing them. Am I going crazy? Actually truth be told, I could smell mashed potatoes and turkey and noodles. Here I am begging once again for food. Believe me it works EVERY time! Can I now add "gypsy" to the resume?

I am mad at Mommy and sulking in the garage.....

....because I didn't get my walk today. I'm so mad I am never going back in the house. Well except maybe for dinner.

(No Kacy I did not make Mac go out there. He went out on his own. He is now snorting at me because I am at the laptop. I think he learned that from your dad. Madre)
